A Hill Country engagement session on the Blanco River

This engagement session will forever hold a heavy spot in my heart. These precious humans decided to do an engagement session in Texas instead of their soon-to-be-wedding state of Oregon, so that they could incorporate their precious fur babies into the photos; a shoot, in fact, that was almost rain-checked.

Alas, the session & many laughs were had along the river with these 4 (+my precious husband who came along to help!) However, the days that followed were terribly gut-wrenching for these two, as they lost their sweet fur baby Joan, and then their sweet other fur baby Ruby, just a couples months later. They were the sweetest & most well-traveled senior dogs, and I know they're finding tasty treats together over the rainbow bridge now.
